In 2009 Rev. Dr. William N. Wade of Strasburg, Virginia, who was an admirer and collector of Ray Yoder's art, organized a centennial celebration of his life and work. Dr. Wade gathered over 40 of Ray's pictures and artifacts from various collections, notably those of Dr. Wade and Ray's son, Hon. Ronnie A. Yoder, of Alexandria, Virginia, and arranged a month-long showing at the Waynesboro Public Library and a celebration there on October 3, 2009, to honor Ray's birth in 1909 (March 9). A video record of the presentations by Dr. Wade and Judge Yoder at that celebration is available at the link.
